Afterwards, travel to the Eastern Desert to explore Al Kharraneh Castle, the UNESCO-listed Amra Castle, and Al Azraq Castle—where T.E. Lawrence once stayed and penned part of Seven Pillars of Wisdom. Depart for Jerash, one of the best-preserved Roman provincial cities in the world. Discover its colonnaded streets, temples, theatres, and plazas. Continue to Ajloun to visit the 12th-century Ajloun Castle, an important Islamic military site built by a general of Saladin. Overnight in Amman.
Travel along the historic King’s Highway to Petra. En route, stop in Madaba to view the famous 6th-century mosaic map of the Holy Land and visit St. George’s Church. Continue to Mount Nebo, believed to be the burial site of Moses, offering panoramic views of the Jordan Valley. Later, explore Kerak Castle, a Crusader fortress from the 12th century. Arrive in Petra for an overnight stay.
Explore Petra, the ancient Nabatean city and UNESCO World Heritage site. Walk through the Siq—a narrow gorge flanked by towering cliffs—leading to the iconic Treasury. Discover temples, tombs, and rock-cut architecture spread throughout the site. Later, head south to Wadi Rum, Jordan’s dramatic desert landscape. Overnight in Wadi Rum.
Enjoy a 2-hour jeep safari through Wadi Rum, known for its breathtaking sandstone formations and vast desert plains. Continue to the Dead Sea—the lowest point on earth—famous for its mineral-rich waters and therapeutic properties. Overnight at the Dead Sea.
After breakfast, transfer to Queen Alia International Airport for your departure. End of services.
