Depending on time and interest, you might also have a panoramic stop in Meknes, a former imperial city with monumental gates and a rich past. You will then continue on to Fes, where you will settle in for the evening and prepare for the immersive experiences awaiting you the next day.
Today is dedicated to discovering Fes, the spiritual and cultural capital of Morocco. With your expert guide, you will dive into the UNESCO-listed Fes el-Bali, one of the world’s largest and most intact medieval cities. The labyrinthine alleys will lead you past centuries-old tanneries, colorful souks, artisan workshops, and magnificent madrasas like Bou Inania. You will also visit the Karaouine Mosque and University, considered one of the oldest in the world.
